SMMT Connected 2024

IDTechEx attended the SMMT Connected 2024 (fourth) on 14th March in London. SMMT Connected 2024 brought together automotive industry leaders, key government agencies, policymakers, and the press, to address the challenges the UK must face to accelerate its leadership position in connected and autonomous vehicles to ensure business and social wellbeing. With a spotlight on fostering trust in AI and GenAI technologies, discussions at the event also navigated through European regulations on autonomous vehicles and strategies to fast-track the UK's legislation in this innovative field. The focus was on ensuring the synergy between business advancements and societal benefits through these technological breakthroughs.
